What you'll be stepping into
Qualifications & Experience:
1. Must have a first or second upper class in Bachelor of Laws from a recognized institution of higher learning.
2. Must have completed LDC at least 3 years before recruitment i.e. must have graduated from LDC in the year 2023 or earlier (first- or second-class upper division).
3. Promise of skill and effectiveness in teaching and advising students.
4. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
5. Must have excellent computer skills.
6. Must be able to learn, adapt, and be flexible in an office and classroom.
7. Must be able to work independently and as part of a wider team.
8. Must be self-motivated, teachable, willing and able to learn, and a team player
9. Must be dependable and committed to continuous improvement, learning, and personal growth.
10. Ability to solve problems quickly, accurately, effectively, and efficiently.
11. Ability to multitask and stay organized.
12. Must be able to pay attention to detail.
13. Should be a committed and practicing Christian
Duties:
1. Teach the allocated workload in a semester
2. Prepare assessment tools and marking guides accordingly
3. Teach and assess students in accordance with the University’s Curriculum
4. Must be present for all lecturers
5. Should attend to students’ academic needs and also offer advice.
6. Must be available for departmental, academic and administrative meetings
7. Should be willing to uphold the University’s instruments of Identity
